The German-Tanzanian Partnership organizes volunteer programs in close cooperation with Tanzanian partners.

The project “weltwärts for international understanding and climate protection in Tanzania” is aimed at young adults from Germany.

The project “weltwärts Global Learning – practically implemented” is aimed at student teachers or teachers from Germany.

After intensive preparation, the volunteers actively participate as learners in Tanzanian NGOs and schools. Upon return, many volunteers continue to engage with the DTP and contribute their experience. The DTP also enables two Tanzanians to spend a voluntary year in Germany every year.
