Action for Community Care (ACC)
Action for Community Care, known as Sharing Worlds Tanzania until 2019, was founded in Tanzania in 2008 as a Tanzanian-Dutch cooperation with the aim of supporting orphans and people living with HIV in Tanzania and providing information about HIV prevention. In the meantime, the NGO with 15 Tanzanian employees primarily supports rural initiatives that want to change things for the better in their environment in the four areas of health, education, economic empowerment and social security. It has many years of professional experience in its fields of work. In 2024, a large joint project on sustainable and energy-saving cooking will be launched.
Together with the German-Tanzanian Partnership, ACC supports the 16 German weltwärts volunteers in Tanzania each year as well as the five Tanzanian weltwärts volunteers in Hamburg, Lüneburg and Berlin. ACC is the main partner of the DTP. They exchange ideas intensively and develop the programs further.
