The district cultural center in Altona-Altstadt

The socio-cultural center HausDrei sees itself as a contact point and communicative interface in the lively Altona-Altstadt. HausDrei is a local organizer and starting point of cultural events, also over the Neighborhoodout. As an independent youth welfare organization, HausDrei also offers children low-threshold access to leisure and cultural activities.

The program includes cultural events,open Saturdayclimbing at the bunker in August-Lütgens Park, flea markets, Open workshops, a regular Repair Café, children’s cinema, and various other offers for children. HausDrei is the initiator, co-organizer, and venue of various major events such as the International Festival of Street Arts STAMP, the Hamburg Comedy Cup and the Hamburg Girls’ Spectacle.

Through artistic, creative, and communicative activities, we enable people in Altona-Altstadt to participate culturally. By creating a place to rehearse, perform and experience artistic works, we strengthen the cultural milieu in Altona-Altstadt. Networking and collaboration with international artists’ projects also contribute to this. Our cultural work focuses on street art, theater, women’s culture, cabaret, and comedy.
