On December 15, the International Europe Committee of the Hamburg City Parliament met and spent two hours discussing the twinning between Hamburg and Dar es Salaam. After a presentation of our activities, there were many questions and a lively discussion. It would be nice if this could develop into cooperation between the parliaments of our cities. Topics of particular interest were: the coexistence of Christians and Muslims in Dar es Salaam, women in politics and society, and climate cooperation.
